Hazelnut
Hazelnut Cappuccino
- 1 espresso
- 15ml of hazelnut syrup
- 120ml of milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- Cocoa powder
Prepare an espresso coffee in a cup. In a saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it's hot but not boiling. Meanwhile, add the hazelnut syrup into the espresso coffee and stir well to mix it.
Once the milk is hot, remove it from the heat and froth it vigorously to make it foamy. You can also use a milk frother for this step. Pour the frothed milk over the espresso coffee with the hazelnut syrup. Sprinkle cocoa powder on top for an additional flavor if desired. Enjoy your hazelnut syrup cappuccino!
Pro tip
For a firm homemade milk foam, you can use a French press (plunger coffee maker); it's very effective. Boil some milk, once it's hot, pour it into the French press. Simply pump the plunger up and down vigorously to transform your milk into a thick foam.
